Argon Welder

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Argon Welder to support the fabrication, repair, and maintenance of stainless steel media lines and related components within our manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities. Perform TIG/argon welding and fabrication of stainless steel media lines, pipes, fittings, and components to approved technical specifications, ensuring quality, precision, and timely delivery. Carry out routine inspections, minor repairs, and maintenance of media lines and relevant equipment, escalating complex faults to the appropriate maintenance team. Ensure all job orders are reviewed and approved before execution, and maintain accurate records of fabrication, repairs, and maintenance activities. Maintain workshop cleanliness and organisation in line with 5S principles, ensuring welding tools and equipment are properly maintained. Ensure strict compliance with company safety standards, environmental requirements, and permit-to-work procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment. Requirements Relevant technical qualification in Welding and Fabrication, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline. Practical experience in TIG/argon welding, particularly on stainless steel. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and fabricate pipework and components to specifications. Knowledge of welding quality standards, defect identification, and leak-proof pipe joints. Strong commitment to workplace safety, quality, and timely job completion.
