Automotive Technician

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS A Diploma in Automotive Engineering, Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering (Automotive option), or an equivalent relevant qualification from a recognized institution. Relevant practical experience in automotive technology, workshop operations, maintenance, or a related technical field will be an added advantage. Practical skills in the use of automotive tools, equipment, and workshop machinery. Knowledge of occupational safety and health requirements in a technical workshop. Good communication, teamwork, and organizational skills. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Support practical training and demonstrations in automotive-related technical areas. Maintain and service workshop tools, equipment, and machinery. Ensure compliance with workshop safety standards and procedures. Prepare workshop materials and equipment for practical sessions. Maintain workshop records and report equipment faults. Perform any other relevant duties as assigned by the supervisor.
