Chinese Translator

Job Summary

• We are seeking a Chinese Translatorto facilitate clear and effective communication between Chinese- and English-speaking employees, clients, and stakeholders.
• The successful candidate will provide accurate translation and interpretation support while assisting with communication, documentation, and day-to-day business activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate and interpret between Mandarin Chinese and Englishaccurately and professionally.
• Facilitate communication during meetings, discussions, and business activities.
• Translate emails, reports, documents, correspondence, and other materials.
• Support Chinese and English-speaking teams with effective communication and coordination.
• Assist with administrative and operational activities when required.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and company documents.
• Ensure clear and accurate communication across teams and departments.
• Perform other translation and communication-related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Chinese Language, Linguistics, Languages, or a related field.
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English, both spoken and written.
• Strong translation and interpretation skills with excellent attention to accuracy and context.
• Good understanding of Chinese and English culture and business communication.
• Ability to translate documents, correspondence, meetings, and verbal communications accurately.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and listening skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other communication tools.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
• Previous experience as a Chinese Translator or Interpreter is an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and under pressure.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and reliability.
