Description
RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a motivated and hardworking individual to join our client in Cape Town as a CIMA Trainee. As a CIMA Trainee, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience and develop the necessary skills to become a qualified Chartered Management Accountant.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with financial planning and analysis.
- Perform cost analysis and management accounting tasks.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports.
- Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Support the finance team with ad-hoc duties as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Enrollment in the CIMA qualification or willingness to pursue the CIMA qualification.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Prior internship experience in finance or accounting is a plus.
