Commercial Farm Manager - Macadamia

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS B.Sc. degree or Diploma in Agriculture, preferably related to plant production, is highly preferred A valid standard vehicle driving licence is required; a heavy vehicle driving licence will be advantageous Practical farm experience in harvesting, pruning and fertilisation is desirable Mechanical knowledge and practical mechanical ability will be advantageous KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO Upkeep of farm road infrastructure Water reticulation Fence maintenance Fire breaks Dam and pump maintenance Building maintenance Access control Waste management Report to the Director as and when required Oversee maintenance of the three houses on the premises and all other farm buildings Train and supervise farm workers. The Farm Manager is ultimately responsible for the effective execution of all operational activities Keep the asset register accurate and up to date.
