Corporate Finance Manager

Role Description The Corporate Finance Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Lagos. The Corporate Finance Manager will oversee financial planning and analysis, including preparing and reviewing financial models for existing and proposed projects, and supporting investment decisions across the group's real estate and construction portfolios. This role involves managing financial reporting processes, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements, and providing insights to senior leadership on profitability, cash flow, and capital structure. The Corporate Finance Manager will coordinate budgeting and forecasting cycles, monitor key performance indicators, and recommend strategies to optimize returns and manage financial risks. The role also includes collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners, such as equity investors and financial institutions, to support fundraising, project financing, and long-term growth initiatives. Qualifications Strong Finance and Corporate Finance knowledge, including experience with investment analysis and capital planning. Advanced Financial Modeling skills, with the ability to build, review, and interpret models for projects, investments, and scenario analysis. Proficiency in Financial Statements analysis, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Experience in Financial Reporting, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal reporting requirements. Excellent Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations. Relevant academic background, such as a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CFA) are an advantage. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools; familiarity with ERP or financial management systems is beneficial. Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders. Experience in real estate, construction, or investment management sectors is an added advantage.
