SALARY : R932 292 per annum (Level 11) CENTRE : Pretoria REQUIREMENTS : A 3-Year National Diploma or Degree in Disaster Management / Development Studies / Social Sciences or equivalent qualification at NQF level 6/7 as recognised by SAQA. 3-5 years' experience in Disaster Management. Proficient in Microsoft Office packages (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Teams, MS Excel and Outlook e.t.c). A valid driver's licence. Extensive travelling. DUTIES : The successful candidate will perform the following duties: Manage the development and implementation of the Integrated Public Awareness Strategy (IPAS). Manage the coordination and implementation of national public awareness and advocacy campaigns, as well as commemorative events. Manage the development and dissemination of strategic disaster risk communication and public awareness content to support the implementation of the Integrated Public Awareness Strategy (IPAS). Manage the coordination of the National Capacity Building Coordinating Committee for disaster management awareness, advocacy and capacity development.
