Driver

Location: Caring Habitat, Abraham Adesanya Lagos Caring Habitat is a 40-room purpose-built inpatient skilled nursing and rehabilitation hospital designed to complement the health outcomes of patients through the delivery robust rehabilitation program. We are looking for a driver who will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of [patients/staff/goods/equipment] to designated locations. This role requires excellent driving skills, a strong understanding of traffic laws, and a commitment to providing exceptional service. Key Responsibilities: Safely and efficiently operate company vehicles (cars, ambulance). Plan and follow the most efficient routes to ensure timely arrivals and deliveries, considering traffic and road conditions. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicles are in good working condition. Report any mechanical issues, accidents, or incidents promptly to the appropriate supervisor. Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, deliveries, and other relevant information. Adhere to all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies. Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the assigned vehicle. Assist with loading and unloading [goods/equipment], if required. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor. Handle cash or payment transactions, if applicable, and ensure accurate record-keeping. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Qualifications: A Primary school leaving certificate or SSCE. Valid Driver's license. At least 4-5 years of Driving Experience. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Good knowledge of the Lagos road network. Ability to navigate traffic using google map. Good knowledge of road signs and Lagos state traffic law..
