Electrical Engineer (Building Services and Reticulation)

Responsibilities include but are not limited to Designing electrical reticulation networks for residential and industrial developments Managing HV, MV and LV power distribution systems, including infrastructure planning and assessments Designing building electrical services, standby power, UPS systems, lighting, earthing and lightning protection Integrating electronic systems, including fire detection, CCTV, access control, data/telecommunications and building management systems Overseeing projects from concept to completion, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance Criteria BTech or BSc/BEng Degree in Electrical Engineering 5 - 7 years' consulting engineering experience in building services and electrical reticulation ECSA registration as a Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng preferred, or progress towards professional registration Strong engineering design and analysis software skills Excellent problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills High attention to detail, professional integrity and commitment to quality -High level of English proficiency and good business-level Afrikaans proficiency
