Fibre Engineer

Key Responsibilities Install, splice, terminate, and test fiber optic cables. Carry out FTTH installations and customer activations. Troubleshoot fiber faults and restore network services promptly. Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on fiber infrastructure. Perform fiber testing using OTDR, power meter, and other diagnostic tools. Install and configure ONTs/ONUs and related customer premises equipment. Prepare installation, maintenance, and fault reports. Ensure compliance with company safety and quality standards. Requirements OND/HND/B.Sc. in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years' experience in FTTH/Fiber Optic installation and maintenance. Hands-on experience with fiber splicing, OTDR testing, and fault troubleshooting. Good understanding of GPON/FTTH networks. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be resident in or willing to relocate to, Warri, Asaba, or Ibadan.
