Field Supervisor

Responsibilities Lead a team of four enumerators through household listing and systematic household selection in assigned enumeration areas. Assign interviews so that women interview women and men interview men, one parent per household. Accompany 5% of interviews and check completed tablet forms every day. Manage up to three revisits per household and record full contact details for follow-up. Keep the team safe and report incidents or safeguarding concerns the same day. Required experience Bachelor's Degree or HND. At least 3 years supervising household surveys on tablets (KoboToolbox or SurveyCTO) in Northern Nigeria. Experience with surveys on sensitive topics such as health, gender or protection. Resident in Kano. Fluent Hausa and English. Preferred experience: Panel or follow-up surveys. Previous work with international research organisations. Skills and attributes: Leadership and calm problem-solving in the field. Honesty and attention to detail. Respect for participants and local leaders.
