Field Technician – Mechanical Engines

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Field Technician - Mechanical Engines to support the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, overhaul, and repair of diesel and gas-powered engines utilized in industrial and oil & gas operations. Key Responsibilities Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair diesel and gas engines. Perform engine overhauls and component replacements. Diagnose mechanical failures and recommend effective solutions. Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance activities. Monitor engine performance and operating parameters. Support engine installation, commissioning, and testing activities. Prepare maintenance reports and service documentation. Ensure compliance with OEM recommendations and HSE requirements. Support emergency maintenance and field service interventions. Qualifications and Experience OND, HND, Trade Test, HSE 1, 2 ,3, City & Guilds, or Technical Certification in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 3 - 5 years experience maintaining diesel and gas engines. Familiarity with Caterpillar, Cummins, Perkins, Detroit Diesel, MTU, or similar engine brands is an advantage. Strong mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance skills. Ability to read technical manuals and maintenance procedures. Good communication and reporting skills. Willingness to travel and work at remote project locations when required.
