Financial Controller

We are seeking a Financial Controller who will be responsible for all financial systems including the selection and implementation of an ERP and build upon existing automation and processes.

Responsibilities

·        Ensure absolute integrity of all accounting records and reporting

·        Review, overhaul and document all processes within the finance function

·        Improve and build out IFRS9 provisioning model

·        Responsibility for Financial Systems including the selection and implementation of an ERP/Accounting system

·        Integrity of all financial records within Mambu (core banking

·        Review and improve product accounting on Mambu ; train the team on Mambu

·        Review, overhaul and document all processes within the Finance Function

·        Develop and implement models for the deferral of direct selling costs and deferred fee income

·        Set up SPV and Accounting for Securitization Business

·        Implement a risk and control monitor for the finance function

·        Drive automation and continuous process improvement

·        Minimum 4 years’ relevant experience with reputable organizations

·        Prior experience in the banking industry is required

·        Experience in the deployment of SAP is required

·        Professionally qualified (ICAN & ACA, ACCA or equivalent)

·        Minimum of B.Sc. / HND in Business Administration, Accounting or any other related field

·        MBA or M.Sc. in Finance, Accounting or any related discipline is a plus
