KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Always maintain a prominent level of visibility and supervisory involvement in the food and beverage outlets
Ensure that all team members are trained to carry out effective, professional service and to deliver a warm welcome.
Ensuring high standards are set and continue to be observed
Responsible for inquiries, complaints and any problems that may arise whilst on duty and to ensure they are resolved in a timely manner and communicated to senior management.
Assist the Food and Beverage Manager, overseeing rosters and ensuring cost effective measures are always adhered to
Managing the Restaurant Reservation Book and attending weekly function meetings.
Ensure that a sales culture is created by actively encouraging up selling
To ensure cleanliness levels are maintained to a high standard in all F&B areas
To keep up to date with competitors and local businesses.
Liaise and maintain a relationship with other departments to ensure the effective, efficient and smooth running of events.
Assist in promotional and marketing activities as required.
Adhere to Health & Safety Procedures and other Company Policies and Procedures.
Any other duties relevant to your skills that may be assigned to you by the Company.


REQUIREMENTS:


Excellent leadership and delegation skills required.
Must be a self-starter, with good communication skills.
Available to work early and late shifts both midweek and weekend
Must have a minimum of 2 years hotel food & beverage at supervisory level
