Food and Beverage – Trainer

Duties and Responsibilities Undertaking training in areas of specialization in accordance with the syllabus: Preparing teaching/learning materials and schemes of work; Setting and marking examination/assignment: Carrying out research work under the guidance and supervision of a senior trainer: Supervising trainees' projects and practical work: Preparing training documents; Participating in development and review of curricula; Participating in development of training manuals; Setting, moderating and marking examinations: Participate in trainee practical assessments: and Performing any other function that is incidental or consequential to the functions of the department. For appointment to this grade, a candidate should have: - Bachelor Degree/Higher National Diploma in Food and Beverage or equivalent from a recognized institution. Be licensed by TVET Authority or meet the requirement for licensing by TVETA Be a member of a relevant professional body, where applicable. Have at least two (2) years of working experience from a recognized institution.
