Group Managing Director

Role summary: The GMD will provide overall strategic and executive leadership of the Group, responsible for growth, profitability, governance and the performance of all subsidiaries. Key responsibilities Develop and execute the Group's strategy, annual business plans and budgets Lead the executive team (COO, FD and subsidiary heads) and hold them to targets Drive revenue growth, market expansion and new business opportunities, including partnerships and acquisitions Oversee financial performance, capital allocation and risk management Build and maintain relationships with regulators, investors, banks, partners and key customers Make sure corporate governance, legal and regulatory compliance standards are met Represent the Group publicly and report regularly to the Board Build a high-performance culture and succession pipeline Qualifications and experience Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or a related field; MBA or equivalent preferred Minimum 10 years' experience, including at least 5 in senior executive leadership, in manufacturing, FMCG or retail, or in oil and gas, energy, fintech or similar industries Demonstrated P&L ownership and success in growing multi-business or multi-site organisations Strong understanding of sales and marketing, logistics and inventory, and general administration Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication and stakeholder-management skills
