Housekeeper

Job Description

• Clean and prepare assigned guest rooms and bathrooms to hotel standards, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and making beds with fresh linen.
• Restock towels, toiletries, and other room amenities.
• Clean corridors, stairwells, lifts and other public areas as assigned.
• Collect, sort and deliver soiled linen and laundry as directed.
• Report maintenance issues, damage, spills or safety hazards to the supervisor and maintenace department promptly.
• Hand in lost-and-found items and report them correctly.
• Respond politely and promptly to guest requests.
• Follow hotel safety, hygiene and confidentiality policies, and use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.
• Keep trolleys and equipment clean and organised.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an SSCE / HND / OND / Bachelor's Degree qualification with 2 - 4 PROVEN years work experience.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to work with little supervision.
• Honesty, integrity and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Physical fitness: the role involves standing, bending, lifting and pushing trolleys for long periods.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays asneeded.
• Good communication skills and a courteous, guest-friendly attitude.
