Role purpose:
To migrate HR automated solutions from SharePoint Designer to PowerApps and Power Automate while enabling internal capability through knowledge transfer and structured training.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership
Automation Migration Execution
Assess and catalogue all existing SharePoint Designer workflows and forms
Prioritise migration backlog based on business impact and complexity
Execute end-to-end migration to PowerApps and Power Automate within agreed timelines
Validate migrated solutions to ensure functional equivalence and improved performance
Resolve migration risks, dependencies, and technical issues proactively
Solution Design and Build
Redesign legacy forms into modern, intuitive PowerApps interfaces
Develop automated workflows using Power Automate aligned to best practice standards
Simplify and optimise process flows during redesign (eliminate inefficiencies)
Ensure solutions are scalable, reusable, and aligned to governance frameworks
Embed security, access control, and data privacy compliance (POPIA aligned

PowerApps and Power Automate experience
SharePoint Online and Designer workflows knowledge
Migration experience
Experience:
5+ years Process Automation Experience with 1 to 2 years using PowerApps and Power Automate
Capability Building and Team Enablement
Deliver structured training sessions on PowerApps and Power Automate (beginner to intermediate)
Provide hands-on coaching during live migration activities
Build internal capability to independently manage, enhance, and troubleshoot solutions
Develop quick reference guides and how-to materials for ongoing support
Foster a culture of digital adoption and continuous learning within HR Services
Knowledge Transfer and Sustainability
Ensure that comprehensive documentation for all migrated workflows and applications is created
Ensure the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for ongoing support and maintenance
Ensure clear handover of ownership to HR Services teams
Establish reusable templates and development standards
Enable long-term sustainability post-contract through structured transition
Stakeholder Engagement and Delivery Governance
Engage with HR process owners to validate requirements and redesign opportunities
Provide regular progress updates, dashboards, and status reporting
Manage expectations on timelines, scope, and delivery risks
Facilitate feedback loops to continuously improve solutions
Ensure alignment with Group HR and broader automation strategy
