Internal Sales (Steel) - Germiston (4913)

A leading steel trading company is looking for a dynamic and experienced Internal Sales Representative to join their team. If you have a strong background in steel sales and a deep understanding of sheet, slits, coils, tubing, angles, flat bar, channels, IPEs, and columns, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle inbound sales inquiries and provide expert product recommendations.
• Prepare, process, and follow up on customer quotations and orders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Monitor stock availability and coordinate with procurement and logistics.
• Track orders from quotation to delivery, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of sales, customer interactions, and market trends.
• Work closely with external sales representatives to drive business growth.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of internal sales experience in a steel trading environment.
• Strong knowledge of flat products, structural steel, and tubing.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications (advantageous).
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Pastel, or similar) and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
