JUNIOR PRODUCTION MANAGER

The successful candidate will have a keen interest in the technical and scientific aspects of fruit cultivation, and we are committed to supporting their growth and success in this field.

You will be welcomed into a supportive and experienced management team, reporting directly to the Operations Head. A specific job description pertaining to production management will be agreed with you. In addition to the responsibility of managing a production area, the position will also include technical support for the rest of the farming operation.

Responsibilities will include:

• Leadership and maintenance of sound and healthy human relations (at all levels).
• Planning, organizing and managing production processes.
• Effective communication and timely reporting of information.
• Identify and investigate opportunities to implement the latest technology in production processes.
• B.Sc. or B.Agric. Degree in Horticulture and, or Soil Science.
• A passion for primary agriculture, together with an interest and aptitude for Pomology in particular.
• Affinity for technology and its practical application in farming and business.
• Energetic, innovative and committed to excellence.
