Project Title: Enhancing Technical Solution Support & Documentation for Customer Success

Project Description

As a Junior Solution Engineer Intern, you will support the TechOps team in understanding customer needs, documenting technical requirements, and assisting in fixes and solutions implementation. You will work closely with the Business Development, Finance, Customer Experience (CX), and Products & Engineering (P&E) teams to gain exposure to real-world problem-solving in a technology-driven environment. This internship will provide hands-on experience in technical solution support, documentation, and stakeholder engagement while allowing you to develop skills in software architecture, integration, and problem resolution.

What you will do?

Technical Support & Documentation

  • Assist in documenting customer environments, technical requirements, and integration processes.
  • Support the team in resolving customer challenges and gathering technical details.
  • Maintain an updated knowledge base of solutions, services, documentation, best practices, and technical learnings.

Collaboration & Learning

  • Work closely with Business Development, CX, Finance, and P&E teams to understand customer needs and technical requirements.
  • Attend and participate in team meetings, technical discussions, and workshops to learn about solution engineering in a business setting.
  • Learn and stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Pre-Sales & Post-Sales Assistance

  • Assist in preparing technical documentation, proposals, and architecture diagrams for internal review.
  • Support the Engineering team during the implementation of new services by documenting processes and developing technical requirements.
  • Participate in troubleshooting efforts by documenting bugs, incidents, and solutions.

Customer Engagement & Communication

  • Shadow senior team members in customer interactions, workshops, and solution presentations.
  • Help document customer feedback and technical issues to improve solutions.
  • Assist in creating clear and concise reports for stakeholders.

The Required Skills

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of software development, databases, and cloud technologies (prior coursework or projects preferred).
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for technology, innovation, and customer-focused solutions.

Key Deliverables

  • Comprehensive technical documentation of customer environments, integration processes, and solution requirements.
  • Reports on technical issues, troubleshooting efforts, and resolution outcomes.
  • Summarised insights from stakeholder engagements and customer feedback for solution improvements.
  • Research report on industry trends, emerging technologies, and key learnings.
