Microsoft IT Security Specialist (Remote) Permanent iSR3572

The Microsoft IT Security Specialist is responsible for implementing, managing, and monitoring security solutions across Microsoft environments. This includes securing cloud and on-premises infrastructure, responding to security threats, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical Eng./Computer Science/ Information Technology (or equivalent)  or any other degree with sufficient cyber experience.
• Advanced professional information security certifications e.g., CISSP /CISM /CISA/ GIAC/ CEH/ CPTP/ OCSP/ DevSecOps.
• Cloud Certification e.g., AWS, Azure
• Microsoft certifications related to security 
• CISSP certifation or equivelant 
• Endpoint security Windows server, Microsoft 365 and hybrid enviroments
• Advanced Networking certifications: CCNA/CCNP/CCSP/CCIE/Network+/CompTIA also preferred.
• At least 3 years proven experience in implementing and administering Cyber Security solutions.
• Certifications in the use and administration of cyber security tools e.g., CyberArk/Firewalls/IDS/Content Filters/Antivirus / VIPs / TCP/IP, IDS / IPS is preferred.
• Working knowledge of project management techniques such as Agile/ SAFe is preferred.
• Demonstrate competency in the deployment and administration of Cyber Security Solutions such as CyberArk, EDR, Vulnerability Scanners, Firewalls etc.

Experience

• Solid experience working with Microsoft secirity tools in an Enterprise enviroment
• Proven experience working in a remote enviroment 
• Responsible and driven
• Incident identification, response, risk assesment and corrective action - proven experience
