Pattern Maker/Designer

Responsibilities

• Developing innovative patterns for various customized garments.
• Meeting the clients to determine their design requirements.
• Creating designs using software such as Corel Draw or similar and adding the pattern specifications onto the computer.
• Completing samples of the garment for client approval.
• Compiling a tech pack for client signoff.
• Discussing the final sample with the Production team.
• Assessing the best technique for mass production.
• Knowledgeable in sizing and measurements.
• Grading patterns into different sizes and taking into account body measurements & type of fabric selected.
• Reviewing & improving existing designs.
• Continuously updating existing pattern-capturing systems.
• Captioning the pattern specifications onto the computer.
• Keeping abreast with the latest trends in pattern making. 

• Diploma in Pattern making/designing.
• 2-5 years working experience as a Pattern maker/designer
• Driver's license and own vehicle.
• Proficient in computer software such as CAD, Adobe Illustrator, etc.
• Ability to use pattern-making tools and industrial machine.  
• Good understanding of fabrics and their compositions.
• Demonstrate working practice in minimizing wastage.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• A keen eye for detail & accuracy.
• Excellent listening skills and energy.
• Ability to take feedback professionally.
• Outstanding time management skills.
