Now, we have millions of users across 9 countries and are growing fast.</p> <p>Our goal is to make Africa the first cashless continent and that's where you come in...</p></div><h2><strong>How you'll help us achieve it</strong></h2> <p><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Wave is now the largest financial institution in Senegal and Côte d’Ivoire, with millions of users, growing rapidly year on year. And, we’re still in the early days of our product roadmap and potential impact on people’s everyday lives.</span></p> <p><span data-preserver-spaces="true">The Premium Cash Assistant plays a crucial role in our liquidity operations, serving our customers and rebalancing our mobile money agents with cash or e-float.&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span data-preserver-spaces="true">In this role, you'll;</span></p> <ul> <li><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Control access to the safe/cash house, including managing cash in and cash-outs between the </span><span data-preserver-spaces="true">safe</span><span data-preserver-spaces="true"> and the PAA accounts.</span></li> <li><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Hold the end-of-day bill counting and maintain daily reconciliation of premium agent outlets.</span></li> <li><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Ensure that all cash management transactions </span><span data-preserver-spaces="true">are correctly recorded</span><span data-preserver-spaces="true"> in the treasury system.</span></li> <li><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Promptly request sufficient funds from the head office to ensure no service disruptions and delays at the outlet while serving our customers and agents.</span></li> <li><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Be responsible for the receipt and dispatch of cash through the Cash In Transit (CIT) team.</span></li> <li><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Ensure all cash management policies and guidelines are adhered to.</span></li> <li><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Responsible for the escalation and follow-up of all issues that impede the well-functioning of the premium outlet.&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Encourage proximity agents to be liquid through frequent tracking, monitoring, and issue resolution.&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Support agent/customer needs to provide immediate support on Wave's offer information, opening accounts, system, application, and physical cards.</span></li> <li><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Ensure that all cash management transactions </span><span data-preserver-spaces="true">are correctly recorded</span><span data-preserver-spaces="true"> in the treasury system.</span></li> </ul> <h2><strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Key details</span></strong></h2> <ul> <li><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Location: You'll work from our office in Lilongwe, Malawi, and may travel to other field locations.</span></li> <li><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Work authorization in Malawi is required.</span></li> <li><span data-preserver-spaces="true">This</span><span data-preserver-spaces="true"> is a permanent position.</span></li> <li><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Our salaries are competitive and calculated using a transparent formula.&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span data-preserver-spaces="true">We offer generous health insurance for yourself and your dependents.</span></li> <li><span data-preserver-spaces="true">We support working parents </span><span data-preserver-spaces="true">- we</span><span data-preserver-spaces="true"> offer 26 weeks of parental leave for mothers and 4 weeks for fathers, in addition to subsidized child care when they return to work.</span></li> <li><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Airtime reimbursement.</span></li> <li><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Free food and a beautiful office space.</span></li> </ul> <h2><strong><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Requirements</span></strong></h2> <ul> <li><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Strong proficiency in English and other local languages in Malawi, </span><span data-preserver-spaces="true">preferably</span><span data-preserver-spaces="true">.</span><span data-preserver-spaces="true">&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span data-preserver-spaces="true">3+ years of experience as a cashier in cash management, reconciliation &amp;
