Key Responsibilities
Understanding curriculum requirements and creating lesson plans and educational content that satisfy these requirements.
Develop age-appropriate lesson plans and instructional materials that support foundational numeracy skills.
Use interactive and creative teaching methods to foster interest in Mathematics.
Prepare pupils for internal and external assessments, including checkpoint exams and Mathematics competitions where applicable.
Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related discipline.
A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGDE, PGCE, or equivalent).
Strong understanding of international curricula (e.g., British Curriculum, Cambridge Primary).
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young learners.
TRCN certification is an added advantage.
