Principal Housekeeper - AN- Scale -KMTC 5

For appointment to the grade, an officer must have

• Cumulative service period of nine (9) years relevant work experience three (3) years of which should have been in Senior Housekeeper or in a comparable and equivalent position;
• Bachelor's degree in any of the following disciplines: Hotel and Hospitality Management; Event Management, Catering/Accommodation Management, Institutional Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Food and Beverage Production/Management and Service; Food and Beverage Management; or a related qualification from a recognised institution;
• Certificate in Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognised institution;
• Membership to a relevant professional body;
• Valid Certificate of Health for food handlers;
• Proficiency in computer application; and
• Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and result.
