Procurement Manager

Reporting to the Head of Operations, Southern Africa, this role leads end-to-end procurement for a well-established international group, with imports at its core. You drive the planning, freight and supplier performance that keep product available across multiple African markets. What you will own Demand-plan-driven purchasing and MRP execution across a large, long-tail SKU portfolio Inventory value, ITR, fill rates, first-pick availability and obsolete stock Inbound ocean and air freight, customs compliance and export coordination A team of MRP Controllers and Import/Export staff What you bring Tertiary qualification in Logistics or Supply Chain 5+ years' supply chain experience, including 3+ years managing people Automotive, industrial or technical distribution experience preferred You own the stock, not just the purchase order You manage performance and discipline with confidence, not avoidance Your technical toolkit ERP/MRP systems, order book management and S&OP Hands-on ownership of 3,000+ SKUs Strong analytical and numerical accuracy
