Responsibilities:


Assist in developing cost-effective project designs and construction solutions to ensure value for money.
Prepare detailed cost estimates, feasibility studies, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for project planning and approval.
Develop comprehensive project budgets, cost plans, and financial projections to guide execution.
Support procurement processes by preparing tender documentation, pricing schedules, and evaluation reports.
Evaluate supplier and contractor quotations and provide recommendations based on cost, quality, and compliance.
Assist in negotiating prices, contractual terms, and procurement conditions to achieve optimal cost outcomes.
Monitor and track project expenditures against approved budgets to ensure financial control.
Identify cost overruns, budget variances, and financial risks, and recommend corrective corrective actions.

Prepare weekly and periodic project reports detailing cost performance, budget utilization, commitments, and forecasts.
Maintain accurate financial and project cost records, ensuring proper documentation and audit readiness.

Requirements:


Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, Building Science, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years' relevant experience in quantity surveying, construction costing, or project cost management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and cost management tools.
Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
