Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and customer-friendly Supermarket Sales Attendant to assist customers, arrange products on shelves, maintain cleanliness within the store, and support daily supermarket operations.
The ideal candidate should possess good communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Attend to customers politely and assist them with inquiries and purchases.
Arrange, label and restock products on shelves.
Monitor product expiry dates and report damaged or expired goods.
Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the supermarket.
Assist customers in locating products within the store.
Handle pricing and product display arrangements.
Support stock-taking and inventory activities.
Operate POS machine/cash register where necessary.
Ensure excellent customer service at all times.
Report shortages, customer complaints or suspicious activities to management.
Requirements
Minimum of SSCE / OND qualification.
Previous supermarket or retail experience is an added advantage.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under minimal supervision.
Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
Honest, punctual and responsible.
