Job Summary
We are seeking a competent and detail-oriented Science Laboratory Technician to support laboratory operations, assist in practical sessions, and ensure proper maintenance of laboratory equipment and materials.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring a safe, organized, and efficient laboratory environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare laboratory materials, reagents, and equipment for practical sessions.
Assist lecturers and instructors during laboratory demonstrations and experiments.
Maintain, clean, and store laboratory equipment properly.
Ensure compliance with laboratory safety and quality standards.
Monitor inventory of chemicals and consumables, and report shortages.
Keep accurate laboratory records and documentation.
Dispose of laboratory waste in accordance with safety regulations.
Requirements
ND / HND or Bachelor's degree in Science Laboratory Technology or related science field.
2 - 3 years relevant laboratory experience.
Good knowledge of laboratory procedures and safety practices.
Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team.
