Senior Accountant (Medical)

Our client in the Medical/ Healthcare Industry is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join their team in Gqeberha/ Port Elizabeth

REQUIREMENTS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficiency in accounting software (Sage Evolution, Sage Intacct)
• Financial Accounting Degree
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in Accountant role
• Recent Stock and Fixed Asset experience essential

Key responsibilities

• Manage general ledger and ensure accurate accounting
• Handle accounts payable and receivable processes
• Reconcile financial records
• Prepare monthly management accounts and reports
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Assist in audits and regulatory reporting
• Furthermore, the individuals will work closely with the Facility Managers and therefore excellent communication skills are essential as well as the ability to take initiative and support team efforts.
