Job description
Job Description
JEM MedTech Pharmaceuticals and Laboratories is engaging State Sales Canvassers to grow sales of our antiseptics, disinfectants, and essential medicines across Nigeria. Each Canvasser covers one assigned state. They find and register customers, take orders, and follow up on payment. The Company delivers directly to customers and collects payment into its corporate account, so the Canvasser does not hold or carry stock. Canvassers report to a zonal Sales Representative.
Key Responsibilities
Visit and map pharmacies, patent medicine stores, hospitals, clinics, PHC centres, wholesalers, and institutional users in the assigned state.
Present JEM products accurately, using only approved sales materials.
Register new customers and collect their KYC documents before their first order.
Record orders on the official Sales Order Form and submit them the same day.
Follow up so that customers pay in full into the Company account by the due date.
Confirm deliveries and report any shortage, damage, or dispute within 24 hours.
Report competitor prices, suspected counterfeit products, and customer feedback.
Submit weekly activity reports and monthly receivables confirmations on time.
Requirements
Resident in, and familiar with the market of, the state applied for.
Sales or marketing experience, ideally in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or FMCG products.
An existing network among pharmacies, chemists, clinics or hospitals is an advantage.
Valid NIN and BVN, and a bank account in the applicant's own name.
At least one acceptable Guarantor, such as a civil servant, a licensed professional, or an established CAC-registered business owner. The Guarantor must sign a Deed of Guarantee and will be verified by the Company.
Honesty, discipline, good record-keeping, and strong communication skills.
Willingness to work under strict payment and remittance controls.
Remuneration
3.5% commission on monthly sales that customers have paid for in full. There is no salary, allowance, or reimbursement.
The TOR still has some [confirm] items, including the guarantor's minimum age and grade level, the probation length, and the monthly targets. I left those out of the advert so you aren't publicly tied to figures you haven't settled yet.
