Job Description

An exciting opportunity has become available within the financial/accounting industry, for a System Implementation Associate in Somerset West. This team is comprised of engineers and financial accountants, specialising in implementation of leading cloud-based ERP and financial systems to SME clients. The ideal candidate is passionate about processes and systems, with a sound understanding of accounting principles as they relate to business systems. The best suited candidate is either a recent graduate or has 1-2 years of relevant experience.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering.
  • Recent graduate or 1 – 2 years work experience (experience beneficial but not required).
  • A keen interest in and understanding of the implementation of ERP and financial systems.
  • Understanding of financial and accounting principles as they relate to business systems.
  • Basic knowledge of information security and data protection practices.
  • Detail-orientated with strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work well in teams.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Business Process Analysis and design
    • Assess, interpret and document incumbent business processes.
    • Design and document streamlined process compatible with ERP system and functionality.
    • Identify change management requirements.
  • Implementation of Systems
    • Setup and configuration of ERP environment.
    • Data extraction, enhancement and importing.
    • Setup workflows and user roles according to the business process.
    • User onboarding, training and support.
    • Monitor system performance and continuously improve systems.
  • Provide Administrative Support for Business Analyst
    • Provide administrative and technical support during the ERP and financial system implementation process.
    • Administrative assistance may include creation of process documentation, commercial reporting, client communication, and other administrative tasks.
  • Assist with internal systems or data-related projects:
    • Assist with internal software implementation projects.
    • Assist with internal business data management.
