Catilas Resources Limited, on behalf of our client, is currently recruiting motivated applicants to work as a Ticketing Consultant. As a Ticketing Consultant, you will be responsible for selling airline tickets, as well as other travel-related services to customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling flights based on customer needs and available flights, ground transportation, including checking weather conditions and making changes as needed.
  • Communicating with customers to answer questions about tickets, pricing, or flight schedules.
  • Confirm customer payments for airline tickets.
  • Help clients ensure their visas and other necessary documents are up to date for the locations they need to travel.
  • Entering customer information into a computer system to issue tickets or update records.
  • Ticketing agent jobs that involve processing electronic ticketing requests for customers or agents over the phone.
  • Explaining airport rules and procedures to passengers prior to boarding flights.
  • Processing refunds for lost or damaged tickets or reservation errors.
  • Explaining applicable fees and taxes for each ticket.
  • Processing boarding passes and checking identification of passengers prior to allowing them to enter the airport terminal.
  • Comprehensive follow up with clients both via mail and calls to close deals.
  • Assisting clients with basic and special needs.
  • Ability to train staff on the job to enhance their understanding.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Minimum of 2 years prior work experience as a Travel Consultant or Ticketing & Reservation Officer.
  • Must be fluent in English.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
