Job Purpose

To design, deliver, and facilitate engaging training sessions and workshops within Dollani Bootcamps and other capacity-building programs, with a particular focus on entrepreneurship, employability, and business development. The Training Facilitator ensures interactive learning, supports trainees’ skill development, and fosters an inclusive, professional, and motivating learning environment aligned with the organization’s vision and standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver training sessions in line with the approved curriculum and learning objectives.
  • Facilitate group discussions, activities, and practical exercises to enhance participants’ engagement and knowledge retention.
  • Adapt training methodologies to different learning styles and needs, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility.
  • Coordinate with trainers, mentors, and program staff to ensure smooth implementation of training schedules.
  • Monitor trainees attendance, participation, and performance; provide feedback and support when needed.
  • Manage training tools, resources, and materials, and ensure their proper use during sessions.
  • Collaborate with the MEAL team to conduct pre- and post-assessments, collect feedback, and report on learning outcomes.
  • Document training processes, challenges, and lessons learned, and contribute to program improvement.
  • Ensure adherence to safeguarding, protection, and anti-harassment policies, creating a safe and respectful learning space.
  • Carry out additional facilitation or coordination tasks as assigned by the Project Manager or Camp Manager.
  • Facilitate entrepreneurship and business development sessions covering ideation, business planning, marketing, and financial literacy.
  • Support participants in developing entrepreneurial mindsets and practical skills to start or improve small businesses.
  • Mentor aspiring entrepreneurs during and after training sessions, helping them refine their business ideas and connect to available resources.
  • Collaborate with the entrepreneurship team to align training materials with market needs and program objectives.
  • Share success stories and lessons learned from entrepreneurial initiatives to inspire and motivate participants.

Note: the above-mentioned key responsibilities/accountabilities are illustrative ones. Other future responsibilities/accountabilities may be assigned to the job depending on the department's organizational chart.

Qualification (Education/Work Experience)

  1. Essential:
  • University degree in Education, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in training facilitation, adult learning, or capacity-building programs.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in English and Arabic (spoken and written).
  • Demonstrated ability to use digital platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.) and learning tools effectively.
  1. Preferred:
  • Previous experience in the humanitarian or development sector.
  • Knowledge of technical fields (e.g., digital marketing, programming, entrepreneurship) relevant to Dollani Bootcamps.
  • Certification in training facilitation, coaching, or adult education.
  • Experience in entrepreneurship training, startup support, or small business development.
  • Familiarity with tools and methodologies used in entrepreneurship education (e.g., Business Model Canvas, Lean Startup, Design Thinking).
