Work Integrated Technical Learner: Plumber (Durban & Richards Bay)

Position Purpose The Artisan In Training Programme aims to provide recently qualified apprentices ( with a red seal) with practical work experience, allowing them to apply their academic and vocational or practical knowledge in a real-world environment. This Programme is designed to enhance participants' employability by offering hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to industry-specific tasks. The Artisan In Training Programme is conducted over a period of 24 months. Position Outputs Perform routine maintenance and repairs. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues. Ensure compliance with safety regulations. Maintain tools and equipment in good condition. Document work performed and report to supervisors. Qualifications and Experience Plumber Trade Test Certificate Trade assessed within the past 4 years Ages between 18 and 35 years Less than one year work experience. Must be a South African citizen Competencies Beginner: Basic understanding of tools and safety procedures. Intermediate: Ability to perform tasks independently with minimal supervision. Advanced: Expert-level skills, capable of supervising and training others.
