The Workshop Manager takes a no-compromise stance on technical excellence. You will manage the maintenance facility, supervise the technician crews, and optimize spare parts budgets.
Job Responsibilities:
Allocate complex mechanical/electrical tasks to technicians and sign off on completed works after rigorous quality checks.
Manage the complete workshop operational budget and control the spare parts inventory to prevent theft or waste.
Standardize and implement Preventive Maintenance Schedules (PMS) across the entire corporate lease and interstate fleet.
Enforce strict Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) rules, making safety gear (PPE) mandatory in all repair bays.
Analyze root causes of recurring vehicle breakdowns to adjust maintenance plans.
Job Requirements:
B.Sc./HND in Mechanical Automotive Engineering or an equivalent field.
5 - 8 years of experience in workshop operations, with at least 3 years in a clear leadership or managerial position.
Deep knowledge of inventory management systems and corporate budgeting tools.
