Job Summary:
To provide comprehensive academic and administrative coordination support to the campus Academic Department by managing lecturer administration, student academic processes, compliance, reporting, and audit readiness, while supporting academic leadership in ensuring optimal academic performance, lecturer utilisation and student success.
Academic Administration & Compliance
Provide day-to-day administrative support to all campus academic programmes and schools
Compile, manage and distribute academic and compliance reports
Capture and maintain accurate student academic records
Support registration processes and retention initiatives
Assist with academic audits
Support SETS (Student Evaluation of Teaching) processes
Assist with disciplinary hearings and academic governance processes
Maintain POPIA compliance
Lecturer (Independent Contractor) Management
Manage lecturer administration across allocated schools and programmes
Track and manage lecturer hours and module allocations
Monitor lecturer compliance, documentation and performance
Manage lecturer onboarding, inductions, and other access
Coordinate lecturer recruitment, screening and interview processes
Facilitate CESM approvals and contract administration
Approve lecturer timesheets in line with payroll deadlines
Drive lecturer evaluations and performance monitoring
Maintain campus lecturer capacity and recruitment pipeline
Campus Academic Coordination
Liaise with Programme Managers, Timetabling & Capacity Planning
Support academic workshops and academic projects
Identify at-risk students and lecturers and escalate appropriately
Act as liaison between campus and National Academic Support Office
Coordinate class visits, academic reporting and academic initiatives
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years in academic administration, HR coordination or tertiary education environment
Diploma or Degree in Education, Administration, HR, Business or related field.
