Fold Pack is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Account Assistant to join our team in Nairobi.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and managing the day-to-day accounting activities of the business, including:
Recording sales, purchases, expenses and payments
Preparing and reconciling customer and supplier statements
Bank and M-Pesa reconciliations
Managing accounts receivable and following up outstanding payments
Preparing supplier payments
Petty cash management
Supporting inventory and stock reconciliations
Preparing VAT, PAYE and other statutory schedules
eTIMS invoicing and reconciliation
Assisting with payroll and monthly financial reports
Maintaining accurate and well-organized accounting records
Requirements:
ÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂàDiploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
ÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂàCPA qualification or currently pursuing CPA is an advantage
Minimum 2 years of practical accounting experience
Good knowledge of Excel and accounting software
Strong understanding of reconciliations, bookkeeping and basic tax compliance
Experience in manufacturing, distribution, packaging, FMCG or a stock-based business will be an added advantage
High level of accuracy, integrity and attention to detail
Able to work independently and meet deadlines
