Role Summary
The Account Manager will be responsible for all financial controls and inventory management across.
Key Duties
Manage daily cash reconciliation at both locations — sales must match cash collected.
Oversee the accounting software to ensure all transactions are captured in real time.
Conduct daily and weekly stock counts and reconcile against the system records.
Investigate and report any stock variances, missing items, or unexplained cash shortfalls.
Supervise the Account Clerk and ensure proper handover procedures between shifts.
Manage procurement requests: verify stock needs, raise purchase orders, track deliveries.
Prepare daily sales and cash reports for the CEO.
Prepare weekly P&L summary for each location.
Ensure separation of duties: sales clerks sell, account team counts and reconciles.
Coordinate with Taiwo Adewale & Co. for monthly external audit and compliance.
Key Performance Indicators
Zero unexplained cash variances exceeding ÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂæ5,000 per week.
Stock variance below 1% per monthly audit cycle.
Daily sales and cash report.
Weekly P&L.
100% compliance with handover procedures between shifts.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
Minimum 3 years experience in retail accounting, inventory management, or financial controls.
Experience in pharmaceutical retail, FMCG, or healthcare preferred.
Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting or POS software.
Fluent in English and Yoruba.
High integrity — must be comfortable flagging fraud or discrepancies without hesitation.
Detail-oriented and process-driven.
Compensation
Base Salary: N180,000 - N250,000 gross monthly.
Benefits: HMO, pension, 13th month salary, transport allowance.
Performance Bonus: ÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂæ40,000/month for zero variance months.
