Job Summary


We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance with regulations, and support strategic decision-making.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and the ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.


Key Responsibilities


Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and reports.
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial transactions.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements.
Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
Monitor financial performance and provide insights to management.
Implement and maintain effective internal controls.


Requirements


Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, CPA) is an added advantage.
Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, SAP).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines


Preferred Skills:


Knowledge of IFRS and GAAP standards.
Experience with financial analysis and reporting.
Work Environment
Full-time position.
Office-based with potential for hybrid work depending on company policy.
Reports directly to the Finance Manager or CFO.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to collaborate across departments.
