Job Summary
As the Account Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards to drive effective financial operations within the organization.
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records and post daily transactions including expenses, revenue, and bank activities
Prepare financial reports such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
Monitor receivables and payables while supporting cash flow management
Assist with budgeting, financial analysis, and audit processes
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal financial controls
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum of 2 - 4 years experience in accounting or finance roles
Professional certification such as ACA is an added advantage
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and understanding of financial reporting
