Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Account Officer to manage financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support the company's financial operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
Support audits and liaise with external auditors when required
Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities
Maintain proper documentation of all financial transactions
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2 - 4 years of relevant accounting experience
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Professional certification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) is an added advantage
