Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support the organization's financial operations.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing financial reports, maintaining accurate accounting records, reconciling accounts, and assisting with budgeting and audits.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, examine, and maintain financial records and statements.
Record and reconcile daily financial transactions.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Monitor cash flow and ensure accurate financial tracking.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
Process payroll and related statutory deductions where applicable.
Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
Support internal and external audit activities.
Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
Recommend improvements to accounting procedures and internal controls.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, or ICAN is preferred.
2 - 5 years of accounting experience (depending on the role level).
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
