Auldon Limited is currently recruiting for an Accoutant that will analyze everyday financial activities and subsequently provide advice and guidance to upper management on future financial plans. The goal is to enable the company's leaders to make sound business decisions and meet the company's objectives. Key Responsibilities:
Analyze daily sales reports and financial statements for trends and discrepancies.
Prepare and present financial performance reports to senior management
Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.
Ensuring all finance and accounting operations comply with generally accepted accounting principles and federal and state laws and regulations.
Ensuring day-to-day transactions such as accounts payable, cash receipts and accounts receivable, credit card transactions, and payroll are recorded
properly.
Performing fiscal year-end close activities and assisting with activities and
requirements of external auditors.
Review and approve expenditure requests within designated limits.
Oversee reconciliation of general ledger accounts and bank statements
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, with at least 2 years in a managerial position.
Proven experience in retail finance or a similar industry.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
Experience in cash flow management and financial modeling.
Familiarity with accounting software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
Ability to prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to senior management.
Strong understanding of inventory management and cost-reduction strategies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Experience in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Familiarity with tax filing requirements and coordination with tax advisors
Certified Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or ICAN is a plus.
