Job Purpose
To manage the accounting operations of ESPL by ensuring accurate financial reporting, proper recording of transactions, cost control, and compliance with company financial policies.
Key Responsibilities
Record daily financial transactions
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports
Maintain proper accounting records and documentation
Monitor expenses and budget performance
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Perform bank reconciliations
Vendor payments and payable across the group
Ensure compliance with tax and statutory requirements
Assist during audit exercises
Maintain petty cash records
Monitor operational profitability
Qualifications & Skills
B.Sc. / HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field (ICAN/ACCA certification or student membership is an added advantage).
3-5 years relevant experience as an Accountant in a corporate environment.
Knowledge of Nigerian tax laws, accounting standards, and financial regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks or ERP system) and MS Excel.
High level of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Must demonstrate honesty, discipline, and professionalism.
