Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the financial records and transactions.
The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting, cost control, and compliance with accounting standards while supporting management with reliable financial insights.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and books of accounts
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Monitor project costs and expenses related to engineering operations
Handle bank reconciliations and cash flow management
Ensure compliance with tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements
Support audits and provide the required financial documentation
Requirements
HND/BSc in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in an engineering or construction company
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Good communication and organizational skills.
