Role Summary:
Mediacrest Training College is seeking a highly competent and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing budgets, overseeing fee collections, processing payments and ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting. The role also supports audit processes, maintains compliance with accounting standards and contributes to overall financial planning for the institution.
Qualifications, Skills & Competencies Required:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
CPA Section 4 or higher (CPA-K certification is an added advantage)
Minimum 3 years of accounting or finance experience
Strong understanding of financial regulations and tax laws in Kenya Proficiency in accounting software
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
High level of integrity and professionalism
