The Accountant will be responsible for preparing financial statements, overseeing accounts payable/receivable, managing cash flow, and ensuring compliance with tax obligations. The role will involve working with auditors and providing accurate financial reports.

Key Duties & Responsibilities


Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Manage month-end/year-end closing, journals, and reconciliations.
Oversee accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely follow-ups.
Ensure timely filing of statutory obligations (PAYE, NSSF, VAT).
Coordinate internal and external audits.
Monitor cash flow, prepare budgets, and provide forecasts.
Safeguard financial records and ensure compliance with policies


Qualifications & Experience


Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
CPA or ACCA qualification (or equivalent).
2+ years of experience in FMCG or manufacturing finance.
Knowledge of IFRS, IAS, and Kenyan Tax laws.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial systems.
