Job Summary
The Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing financial transactions, supporting budget implementation, and ensuring compliance with accounting procedures across assigned business units.
Key Responsibilities
Record and maintain accurate financial transactions.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
Process payments, invoices, and expense claims.
Maintain general ledger accounts.
Conduct daily cash reconciliations.
Reconcile bank statements and vendor accounts.
Monitor inventory-related financial transactions.
Assist in budget preparation and monitoring.
Support payroll processing activities.
Maintain proper financial documentation and records.
Ensure compliance with company financial policies.
Support internal and external audit exercises.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
Minimum of 3 years' relevant accounting experience.
Professional certification is an added advantage.
